AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY GUIDELINE (AIG)The Task Force has created this standardised approach to REACH. It is a practical guide that clearly outlines the necessary tasks. The AIG is highly recommended; it is easy to follow and brings clear benefits when implemented across industry. The third edition was released in July 2011. POSITION PAPERSThe Automotive Industry regularly discusses issues of shared concern. The content of the most important topics are summarised in Position Papers and Communications. These may be updated from time to time. NOTIFICATION FACTSHEETSThe Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) content in articles may need to be notified to ECHA. The Task Force has developed a tool for simplifying the decision making process. Each SVHC is analysed with recommendations suggested for the appropriate course of action. SUBSTANCE OF VERY HIGH CONCERN (SVHC) SURVEYThe impact of SVHCs on the automotive supply chain is continuously evaluated. Substitution and communication activity can efficiently be targeted using this survey information. |
