ACEA European Oil Sequences 2007
The ACEA European Oil Sequences define the minimum quality level of Service-fill Oils that ACEA members demand for using these oils in their vehicles. The Sequences cover oils for Gasoline engines, Light Duty Diesel engines, Gasoline and Diesel engines with after treatment devices and Heavy Duty Diesel engines. ACEA member companies may require more stringent limits or other performance parameters than those mentioned in the Oil Sequences.
ACEA itself does not certify oils or license or register compliance certificates. Oil manufacturers are themselves responsible for carrying out all oil testing and evaluation according to recognised practices. They are also responsible and liable for all claims made that their products meet the ACEA Oil Sequences.
Please note that, effective immediately, the following changes/corrections are made to the ACEA 2007 Oil Sequences:
- Item 2.5 (third column), page 14: “Oil filter diff. pressure @ EOT” shall be changed to “Oil filter diff. pressure @ 150 h”.
- Footnote 5, page 15 shall read “Mack T11 (ASTM D7156) results obtained as part of a API CI-4, CI-4 plus or API CJ-4 approval program, can be used in place of Mack T8 and T8E”.
