Consumer markets scoreboard finds customers most satisfied with cars
The second Consumer Markets Scoreboard of the European Commission has found that cars are the goods consumers are most satisfied with. According to the survey, 80% of consumers in Europe are satisfied with new vehicles. Only 1.6% of those surveyed were dissatisfied. Urban and extra urban transport services (trains, buses and trams), were ranking at the bottom of the 19 goods and services analysed, with around 44% and 46% of customers not being content.
The Commission’s ‘EU Consumer Markets Scoreboard’ also looked at price differences between different member states. The result for cars: most of the differences are due to national taxation policies.
