On November 18, this year’s ACEA Annual Transport Policy Event focused on the transition to sustainable transport; a process that is taking place right now and that needs to be continuously further reinforced. The European commercial vehicle manufacturers are “drivers” of the transition, and they actively engage in the on-going strategic policy debate on this important topic that is taking place in the EU and abroad.
How to increase transport efficiency and optimise logistics? How to stimulate the introduction of new technologies? What are ways to fairly assess road freight transport carbon emissions? What should the European Commission’s White Paper on Transport Policy bring to the equation? These and other questions were addressed during the ACEA conference.
The event took place at the Natural Science Museum in Brussels.
